The ‘corte’ is a large farmyard, paved in stone, leading to the six rooms and to the garden. It features the wide range of typical Salentinian colours: yellow as in the thick walls made of ‘pietra leccese’, the local yellow stone; white as in the pargeting; red as in the tiles of the pitched roof; grey as the typical dry wall. The unique flavour of the farmyard is enhanced by ancient ‘ozze’ (big clay jars), the well and the cistern, the benches and the old sinks (‘pile’). All restored original pieces.
